TurtleBoy Returns to Campus!

TurtleBoy has come home for a week or two to be in the festivities wrapped around the Fear the Turtle Sculptures Auction...one of the auctions begins online today! I the second photo, he's talking to Disco Terp!

All of the turtles have come back to campus and are being cleaned up for the auction viewing. On the 18th of October, they will all be paraded thru campus on flatbed trucks. On the 19th they all 50 will be on display at the Riggs Alumni Center. And, the night of the 19th, the turtles that weren't sold will be auctioned. All the proceeds go to Marylan's student scholarships!

I was so happy to see TurtleBoy again. He had sand all over him. But, he held up really well and he's still so cute!

TurtleBoy is Livin' Large in OC

TurtleBoy has landed finally in Ocean City, MD...at the Phillips Hotel and Restaurant on 12th Street....it was sad to leave him but folks had already begun to take their photos with him. We're going to try to put a web cam on him for the summer! There are photos of our road trip HERE.

	Hey! Who's that lady trying to eat my crab? I hope she knows it's just rubber....
	As you can see, I actually have on my shirt and shorts now...I'm heading for the sun and surf at OC...bring it on!

The Countdown Begins!

I'm almost done....I have to be DONE by Friday, April 14th! I'm so excited. They still have to finish my shirt and my short...for heaven's sake!

Also, I have some words that have to be printed on my shell...I'll save that 'til the end!

	They want me to eat a crab...Yuk! I don't lthink they know that I'm allergic to fish!
	Then they told me it was made of rubber...so I guess it'll be okay!
	This is my friend Kevin...he's going to be airbrushing my shell...it's a hell of a shell!
	Then they put a bib on me!....Don't they know they should "Fear the Turtle Boy"

	Sunday. March 26. I'm kind of bored again this morning. Did you know that it's dark in here...it's because there aren't any windows. Tomorrow night will be better because there will be a class in here from 7-9. I like classes. I wonder which one it will be....anyway, I want to tell you about today!.
	....I was tapping my foot while I waited for them to show up...
	Just for the record...that red on my back wasn't my idea...it's way too light. I told Linda that she needed to buy some darker color today...she said I had an attitude (whatever that is) but she did buy me more paint...Ralph Lauren paint...I love it! That's my friend Margaret doin' my back....I asked her to do my toenails, but she wouldn't!
	Notice how the gold tones come through in my creases...I can't wait to see these puppies in the sun at O.C. I get all crazy just thinkin' about it...
	This the is group's work cart. It holds all their paint and stuff in a nice, manageable heap. I know...it looks messy doesn't it. I'm just glad that I don't have to clean up or anything. I think I have the best job of all...getting hatched into a real live turtleboy! CYA!
